Thrive 24/7: Sustaining Safety & Support

Since its inception in 2015, Thrive Youth Center has worked tirelessly to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth exiting homelessness. Thrive’s services include a 16 bed emergency shelter, 50 rapid rehousing apartments and wraparound services including educational and workforce support, mental health counseling, and life skills training. Thrive recognizes that youth in our community need to find a place where they feel welcomed and accepted for who they are; a chosen family who supports their efforts to become productive members of a welcoming society.

Government grants allow us to provide physical housing, but wraparound services like case management are primarily funded through generous donations from compassionate individuals who understand the challenges facing LGBTQ+ youth today.

At Thrive, our doors never close. LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness often face the most danger after dark, on weekends, and during holidays. That’s why your support is critical; it sustains care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

• Community doesn’t keep office hours: Our youth learn what it means to belong, share space, and grow in a supportive environment, no matter the time of day.
• Staff are always there: Our shelter team answers every call and welcomes youth 24/7, ensuring no one is ever left without support.
